ASSC Racing Captures First IHRA Pro Stock Win! Gillig from the #3 qualifying spot took out first time qualifier Dan Sweeney in the first round, which placed him against John Montecalvo. Gillig advanced as Montecalvo shook and Gillig streaked to the win. In the semis, Gillig was paired against #1 quaifier Frank Gugliotta who took a shot and tree and turned on the red light. In the final Gillig took out first time finalist Bert Jackson. With the win in Rockingham Gillig is tied for the lead in the points with Frank Gugliotta
