Team ASSC Wins WFC8 May 12-15, 2005 - In the first round of eliminations Tony Gillig defeated the 2002 WFC Champion, Randy Eakins to advanced to the second round where he defeated the 2003 WFC winner Donnie Walsh. In the semis Team ASSC put the 2004 IHRA Pro Stock World Champion, John Nobile, on the trailer. In the finals Tony Gillig and Team ASSC Racing defeated the 2004 WFC Champion Chuck Samuels, to win the 2005 World Ford Challenge Championship in Pro Mod 5.0.
